New Ghost Walk Date: Monday 18th June – Tickets limited to 10, Early Booking Recommended!
Location: Meeting at The Hurt Arms, Ambergate, Derbyshire DE56 2EJ
Time: 7.00pm to 10.30pm approx.

Please dress for the weather and wear sensible walking boots. The ground is uneven and there will be some uphill walking. Please feel free to bring snacks and drinks. Don’t forget your cameras!
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the woods, this event is not suitable for the disabled or people with heart conditions. We do not have any public right of way to Ambergate hall / Oakhurst house as it is privately owned and in a state of disrepair.
Join Andrew Elson, Haunted Company’s in-house psychic medium, for another Ghost Walk/Paranormal Investigation around the haunted Shining Cliff woods. The Team will take you past supposedly haunted buildings, caves and places of rituals.
Charcoal burners Betty and Luke lived in the woods with their eight children. Local legend tells of the nursery rhyme ‘Rock-a-bye-baby’ originating from their babies who were rocked to sleep in the boughs of the tree, with one falling to death and being buried under the tree.
During the walk will then visit the cave in the middle of the woods, home of giant spiders and ghostly faces which our technical team member, Peter Spencer, caught on camera on a previous Haunted Company event.
A short way up the hill is one of Shining Cliff Wood’s many fire pits, a site of pagean and satanic rituals over many hundreds if not thousands of years. Our team also captured giant orbs here on our earlier visit – you can see these by visiting our website news feed for more info. During the same full night investigation, it became apparent that there were six friendly white witches also wandering the woods.
Andrew will tell you more secrets and stories of Shining Cliff Woods as we wander past the lake on our way back to the Hurt Arms car park. What ghostly goings on will we discover on our latest visit to this spooky location? Join us to find out!
Don’t forget to bring your torches and cameras! You never know what you might find!
Prepare to be Scared!!!
